About me: Basketball and Sneakers; My love for the game (basketball) and sneakers came late,
growing up I was into soccer/football (which South American isn’t!). In high school I met a basketball for the very first time and NWTS…
As my love for the game of basketball grew, so did the love for sneakers! Back in the day I would look at the cool kids rocking their Nike’s, Jordan’s and Fila’s and wished I could get a pair.
I was fortunate that my parents bought me my first pair of Jordan’s, which I then destroyed within months from playing street basketball!
Fast forward to today I probably own a few too many sneakers, but there is nothing like opening that box and seeing those brand new spanking kicks. Basketball remains my passion and I am lucky to still be able to lace up a pair and ball (the body disagrees the next morning though) Some people say why sneakers? I say why not! Everyone has a story as to why they love sneakers,
for me it’s about feeling like your childhood hero when you lace up a pair.
My love for sneakers has seen me branch out to other makes and models nowadays, but there is something about that Jumpman that keeps me coming back for more.

Air Jordan 6 Black Infrared: Fell in love straight away, to me this sneaker is the most beautiful sneaker ever made….had to wait many, many, many years to eventually purchase.
Air Jordan 5 Black Metallic: That metallic tongue!
Air Jordan 7 Bordeaux/Air Jordan 9 “OG”: The 7 Bordeaux…the shape, the colour…when it released I had to get it, to this day it remains up there. When the 9’s came out – I thought they were the flashiest sneakers out there…they were in Space Jam too…need I say more?!
